• Grade 12 / NQF 3
Experience: • 3 years’ experience with assisting with electrical testing of power transformers
Skills and Competencies
• Compiling a HIRA
• Working at heights.
• Operate aerial platform
• Communication and Understanding of Instructions, drawings and electrical diagrams
• Sound interpersonal and communication skills.
• Conflict Resolution
Knowledge: • Basic understanding of power transformers and related components.
• Knowledge of different electrical tests performed in transformer and components.
• Knowledge of safety procedures around power transformers and energized equipment, especially before doing connection set-up on the transformer.
• Understand different electrical test connection set-up as per type of test.
• Knowledge of identifying risks and hazards related to testing.
• Understand, read, write, and communicate in English.
• Understand works instructions and SHEQ related regulations applicable to area of responsibility
• Disciplinary procedure

• PFMA regulations

• Available to work in Works and On-Site
